Nintendo has been the talk of E3, stealing the thunder away from even Sony and the PlayStation Vita for many gamers with a new console unveil of its own: the Wii U. But the Wii U is still in its early stages, and there aren’t many real games to see in action yet for the innovative console with a touch screen tablet game pad for a controller. So personally, I need to see a lot more before I start jumping up and down out of my seat about it.
But beyond the Wii U, Nintendo has three other platforms already on the market, with the DS and Wii still alive and kicking with some fun experiences left to give (Kirby Mass Attack and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, anyone?), and the 3DS showing signs of coming into its own. In fact, coming out of E3 this year my enthusiasm for the 3DS has skyrocketed, and by year’s end I think everyone is going to be jumping on the bandwagon in droves.
But enough jibber jabber. Let’s take a closer look at nearly 50 games coming to Nintendo platforms through the remainder of 2011 and into 2012. Click here to continue on to page 2 for even more screens!
