E3 2014: BioWare Teases Next Mass Effect, New Original IP

In addition to showing off Dragon Age: Inquisition (more on that one later), BioWare used EA’s E3 press conference to release a behind-the-scenes teaser video providing a sneak peek at two future new-gen titles. BioWare’s Montreal studio is working away on the next installment in the Mass Effect franchise which will see players “travel to a new region of space, explore new worlds, and discover new characters.” A completely new IP “built in an entirely new fictional world that is constantly changing” is also in development at the Edmonton studio.

By the definition of a teaser, the video doesn’t show much but vague developer speak and some environmental concepts. But… BioWare. Mass Effect. New IP. Yay!
