Lionhead’s taking the Fable franchise in a bold new direction with Xbox One exclusive Legends, a cooperative 4-player action-RPG powered by Unreal Engine 4. (Don’t worry, it’ll be playable offline with AI filling in the open hero slots.) Of course, the main new wrinkle highlighted during Microsoft’s E3 briefing is the addition of a dungeon master feature which allows a fifth player to play the evil Villain and orchestrate traps and enemy forces from an overhead perspective.
I’m not a big Fable guy, but this looks like it could be a lot of fun. As long as the final game doesn’t have the constant hero chatter. That shit got real annoying real fast during the stage demo.
