Hatsune Miku and her Vocaloid pals are returning to the Western hemisphere (Europe and North America) this fall in Project Diva F 2nd for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Unlike the first game’s staggered release, both platforms will launch simultaneously via retail and digital download with cross-save support. That’s right. This time around a packaged version will be sold in stores for Vita. Thanks for listening, Sega!
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd features updated rhythm game mechanics, a revamped ranking system, an improved edit mode, hundreds of new costume modules and accessories, and 40 songs — 20 from the Japanese PSP games, and 20 that are brand new. The original is already the grooviest rhythm game to come along in years, so expect only bigger and better things from the sequel.
