Picking up right where it left off with Mass Effect 2 and the original Dragon Age, BioWare has announced a full slate of pre-order DLC bonuses for the March 8, 2011 PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 launch of Dragon Age II. Customers who pre-order or pay for the game in full on or before January 11th will receive an exclusive “BioWare Signature Edition” upgrade providing $20 worth of bonus items at no additional charge.
The Signature Edition DLC consists of a yet-to-be-announced playable character and mission set, a downloadable copy of the game’s soundtrack, and an “in-game digital armory” containing four exclusive items (looks like a sword, shield, bow and staff from the above graphic), among other undisclosed digital items.
Gamestop, Amazon, Electronics Boutique, and the EA store currently have the Signature Edition available for pre-order, with additional retailers to follow suit shortly. If you’ve already placed a pre-order with one of the participating retailers prior to this offer, fear not – your order will automatically be upgraded to the Signature Edition.
