Easter Vacation Over, Back to Work I Go

Easter_1.jpg Howdy readers! Hope you all had a nice Easter weekend. Just returning from a few days visiting with my bro, niece and newborn nephew for the holiday and it was a great time. My niece, who turns two in June, was able to go on her first Easter egg hunt, and as you can see she loaded up with eggs! Once the egg hunting was over and we headed back indoors, I whipped out my DS for a little Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates action. As you can see below, she watched on attentively as I played away. The gameplay didn’t hold her attention too much, but she was all into the cut scenes, especially the opening intro movie.

But anyhoo… I’m now back at home sweet home and ready to get back to the daily bloggin’ grind after a few days of rest and relaxation away from computers and games (well, other than the half hour or so I put into Ring of Fates). Heading off to grab a few zzz’s for now, but I’ll be back to work later in the AM with a few leftover stories from late last week and whatever new stuff filled up my inbox Monday. Then for the rest of the week, watch out for reviews I’m wrapping up for God of War: Chains of Olympus, Dragon Quest Swords and Rocketmen: Axis of Evil, and hopefully the latest Buzz! games and Space Ace, which I just got an early Blu-ray copy of last week before heading away, along with some impressions of a couple Logitech products I’ve been testing out recently, if I can squeeze them in.

Had something like four FedEx/UPS/Priority packages piled up upon my return too, so I’ve got to go through all those to see what new games I have to start plugging away at for reviewing. I know there’s an early Persona 3 FES review build in one, so can’t wait to crack that open.

OK, time to call it a night. My pillow is calling…
