Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero Slips Into Next Year, New Screenshots Soften the Blow

When it was first announced over the summer, Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero, the DS sequel to the Wii launch title Elebits, was slated to ship this fall. Sadly, though, it now won’t be shipping until Q1 2009 according to the latest assets provided by Konami from its press event in New York this week. Sad to hear, especially as an admirer of the Wii original, but upon deeper examination a delay is probably for the best. A game like this would almost assuredly get lost in the mad holiday rush, but with an early ’09 launch it’ll have a much better shot of grabbing gamers’ attention.

Don’t get too down in the dumps over the delay. Maybe these 10 new screenshots will help cheer you up some.
