Enter the Gungeon Will Let You Pew Pew Pew With a Friend

Although not as lovely on the eyes as Eitr, Enter the Gungeon is another awesome indie gem Devolver Digital has showing at E3 this week.

In fact, there is a small tidbit of news to report. Dodge Roll Games’ devilishly challenging and cute bullet hell gunfight dungeon crawler has revealed a co-op mode, because no hero should have to enter the Gungeon alone.

“Making its debut at last night’s PC Gaming Show at E3, the two player co-op mode allows the primary gunslinger a ‘gun cultist’ back up player to help quell the many disciples of the Cult of the Undead who will stop at nothing to preserve the very treasure you seek – the one gun in the world that can kill the past, absolving you of your deep regrets, wrong doings and bad decisions.”

But this raises a simple question: if two heroes enter the Gungeon and survive, who gets the coveted gun that can kill the past? That’s a dangerous argument just waiting to happen.

Enter the Gungeon will be out later this year on PC and PlayStation 4. Check out Tim’s quickie impressions from earlier in the year at PAX South.
