I know a lot of you have been waiting anxiously for an update on Bethsoft’s release schedule for the Fallout 3 DLC packs on PS3, but rest easy my friends, you don’t have to wait a second longer! The DLC schedule has been confirmed today, and the add-ons are coming very, very soon. In fact, an update has just been released patching in trophy support and additional optimizations for the upcoming DLC.
Here’s how the schedule breaks down: Broken Steel will be released first on September 24th, then Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt will follow on October 1st, and finally Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta will close the series out on October 8th. So the entire set will be yours for the taking over the next three weeks!
If you don’t yet own Fallout 3 or any of the DLC packs, your best bet will be to hold out for the Game of the Year Edition, which Bethsoft has also announced will ship on October 13th for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The GotY Edition will include the full game and all five DLC expansions for $50 on PC or $60 on PS3 and Xbox 360.
My opinion, it’s a ok game that has some severe technical problems a very lame plot but that’s OK.
