Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time Coming West

Bolstering its already strong lineup for the first half of next year, Square Enix today confirmed plans for a North American release of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. Due out in Spring ’09, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time is noteworthy for being developed on both Wii and DS and featuring online support and cross-platform play between the two systems. The core gameplay and controls of Ring of Fates on the DS from earlier this year will carry over, expanded upon with an integrated hot-swapping feature for jumping between solo play and multiplayer on the fly, even more equipment creation and customization options, a new story with more quests, support for Mii importing on the Wii and of course the aforementioned cross-platform functionality. Sure sounds like a winner to me!
