Final Fantasy Versus XIII Rebranded Final Fantasy XV, No Longer PlayStation Exclusive

When Final Fantasy Versus XIII reemerged as Final Fantasy XV during last night’s Sony E3 presser, I bet many citizens of PlayStation Nation jumped to the conclusion that the game was going to be exclusive to PlayStation 4. It was a natural expectation to have considering Versus was originally developed to be exclusive to PlayStation 3. But did you notice how there was no mention of exclusivity? Well, that’s because it’s not.

Final Fantasy XV has shifted into next-gen development for PS4 and Xbox One. The game will retain the concept, storyline and world as already established under Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but with the new tech and extra time Square Enix’s First Production Development Team is evolving the gameplay and sexying the graphics up even more.
