Alongside its newly announced lineup of Wii titles, Konami’s unveiling of Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP was one of the most exciting revelations to come from their recent Gamers’ Day show. As a remake of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, The Dracula X Chronicles brings the classic PC-engine title to North America for the first time, with enhanced 3D graphics and updated gameplay features to boot. For purists, the original un-enhanced version of Rondo of Blood will be included as an unlockable, along with a port of the PSOne classic Symphony of the Night — that’s a ton of Castlevania goodness in one package, which should no doubt make it a PSP hit. Screenshots for the game can be viewed in the gallery below. Also be sure to whip by the Dracula X Chronicles game page to learn more.
