There are so many games coming out right now it’s difficult to even think about what’s on tap for 2009, but if you own a DS and are into action-RPGs you’ll want to stop thinking about the ongoing fall/holiday crush for just a second, flip forward in your calendars and put a giant circle around February 10th. On that date Atlus USA will ship Legacy of Ys: Books I & II, a two-game compilation for the DS containing remakes of the first two adventures in Falcom’s beloved action-RPG series chronicling the adventures of red-headed hero Adol Christin.

Features on tap for the two-games-in-one remake include remastered 3D graphics, remixed music, all sorts of new enemies and equipment, touch screen controls, and local four-player wireless play. Check out the debut teaser trailer and first screenshots after the break.
