Since a ginormous patch was recently applied to World of Warcraft, if you’re reading this you either don’t have the game, or are fed up with the bugs and various other issues the recent patch has caused.
To ease the pain that this patch has wrought on many loyal WoW subscribers, Blizzard has announced that everyone with an active account will receive a 24 hour credit due to the issues that have come out of the latest release. While this may not be enough compensation for some people this should quell some of the disturbances on the forums now that most of the patch’s issues been identified and will be addressed soon, if not already.
lol, a day’s worth of credit is useless for an MMO. I know Blizzard had to damage control some way, but one free day?
Yeah, in the grand scheme of things I agree with you. However one day credits have been how Blizzard normally handles other situations, so they probably felt no need to break away from the status quo.
So what are the problems? I downloaded the patch last night, but didn’t end up playing WoW (I’m officially addicted to Resistance).
The problems were mostly created from the new honor system and the PvP setup. I’m on Gul’dan, and we were getting glitched inside of the BGs to the point that only a hard reboot of my comp would get me out. Couldn’t log out, couldn’t exit game, couldn’t even alt+F4!!! Nonetheless, while a lot of people won’t think this is enough compensation, it’s fine with me! Free is free, can’t complain. Plus, I think it only affected me for one day anyways.
As for that priest in the link you had, they obviously haven’t noticed that this new patch is VERY VERY VERY PvP focused, and shadow priests are gods of PvP right now, especially with a lock+felguard combo going on. The only reason for the low rank heal nerfs is so that way, warriors might actually have a chance against them for once. I mean, when they have mana forever, what the hell can a warrior do besides just stand there and kiss their ass goodbye, eh?
