Free Gotham City Impostors DLC Update Out Now on Xbox 360, Coming Soon to PC and PSN

Our review of Gotham City Impostors went live earlier this week, and in it Tim identified two major flaws: matchmaking errors and a lack of maps and match types. Monolith attempts to address both with the game’s first major DLC release, a free add-on pack which includes matchmaking fixes, join-in-progress functionality, a new map, and a host of extra weapons, gadgets, costumes and more.

As of yesterday, this free DLC is available for Xbox Live Arcade players, with the PC and PSN versions to receive the update in the “near future.” The video up top has a preview of the included extras, highlights including the new Falcon Blade ninja katana and the Toxic Gas support item, proving once again that beans are a magical fruit: The more you eat, the more you toot–and in Gotham City Impostors‘ case, the more kills you pile up.

Anyone with DLC impressions to report? Browsing around some forums it appears that folks are still complaining of poor post-patch performance. Has the update addressed performance issues for you or just caused new ones?
