Full Wii Internet Channel Released

WiiWii owners who’ve been unsatisfied by the somewhat slow and incomplete status of the Wii’s current web browsing should be happy campers today, as Nintendo has announced the launch of the full version of the Opera-powered Wii Internet Channel. Available as a free download until June 30th (it’ll cost 500 Wii Points thereafter), the new full version of the Internet Channel features a number of enhancements and added features that were implemented based on user feedback and promise to make the user experience more intuitive. Browser upgrades include a new manual zoom, improved page scrolling, collapsible toolbars, multiple on-screen cursors, and a built-in search function, along with a noticeable boost in overall performance.
