Gauntlet Reboot Launch Pushed Back a Few Weeks (But Maybe a Wizard Robe Made of Dead Imps Will Cheer You Up)

If you were getting all hyped up for next week’s planned September 3rd Steam PC launch of Arrowhead’s modernized Gauntlet reboot, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the game has now been delayed until September 23rd to “fine-tune details in order to bring gamers an even more robust multiplayer experience.” To help soften the blow of this unfortunate news, an extra incentive has been added to the game’s existing pre-order perk package in the form of The Spawn of Kerthull, an in-game Wizard robe made from dead imps. Because nothing cheers a hero up better than wearing the flesh of a greater demon’s offspring.

Having a new gameplay video to watch should help as well, especially one like this which walks through the game’s hero class abilities, map and mode types, lore, enemies, traps and loot.
