GDC 2008: Ninja Gaiden II Set for June, Ninja Cinema Feature Revealed


Alongside the Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 hoopla, Tecmo’s Ninja Gaiden II had a very strong presence at Microsoft’s GDC presentation. Team Ninja’s legendary Tomonobu Itagaki was on hand to share more about the 360-exclusive action/adventure title. First and foremost, a June release was officially confirmed, narrowing the launch schedule down from its previous Summer 2008 listing. In addition, Itagaki unveiled Ninja Cinema, a new feature being added to Ninja Gaiden II that will enable players to record their gameplay exploits to the 360’s HDD, modify them with various video filters and upload them via Xbox Live for the whole world to see. Sounds like a neat idea.
