Get Ready for Square Enix’s Nintendo 3DS Summer of Fun

Square Enix has three sweet Nintendo 3DS titles on the way in the coming months just in time to help gamers beat the summertime heat, all three previously without specific North American ship dates. Not any more. This week, official launch dates have been penciled into the summer release schedule for Heroes of Ruin, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

They’ll be packed into boxes and piled into trucks for their journey to retailers in that order, too. Heroes of Ruin will kick off the Nintendo 3DS triple threat on June 26. A week later, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy makes beautiful JRPG music on July 3. Then the grand finale: Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance drops onto store shelves and fulfills gamer dreams on July 31, weird title and all.

So, you have a couple months to clear your current gaming log, save up your pennies, and stock up on icy pops, because come late June Square Enix’s Nintendo 3DS summer of fun is so on!
