Get Shanked Again February 7th

Shank 2, the relatively under-hyped sequel to Klei Entertainment’s bloody good Tarantino-esque 2D action game from 2010, has confirmed its date with digital download distribution networks.

For PC and PSN in North America, it’ll twin pistol juggle thugs on February 7th. Then, on February 8th, it’ll chainsaw dudes in half on Xbox Live Arcade and the European PSN. You’ll have to pay $9.99 / 800 MS Points to get in on the ultra-violent brawler fun.

In his second outing, Shank returns with improved controls, new instruments of death, deadlier enemies, advanced combo abilities, and the same gruesomely fluid 2D brawler combat and animations that made the original a fan favorite. Additionally, Klei has inserted a co-op Survival Mode letting friends team up locally or online to mutilate waves of enemies together.
