Go for the Gold in Rise of the Argonauts’ Argo Olympics

In the spirit of the ongoing Beijing Olympic Games, the folks at Codemasters recently put together a collection of Argo Olympic mini-games inspired by upcoming action-RPG Rise of the Argonauts. Via the game’s new community site, you can participate in five mouse-clicking, key-mashing-intensive web mini-games clearly inspired by Konami’s classic Track & Field game, including the 100m Dash, Long Jump, Archery, Hammer Toss and Javelin Throw. Events can be practiced individually or played one after the other in the competition with scores tallied and recorded on a global leaderboard. If you’re up for a friendly competition, you can even issue an email challenge to a friend. They’re actually fun little time-wasters, so go give ’em a look when you have a few minutes that need wasting.
