Not sure how new this info is, but an updated fact sheet for GT5 Prologue has recently gone up on the SCEA press site with a Spring 2008 listing for the game’s US release on PS3 and PSN. Last I heard, a release date hadn’t been specified beyond a vague TBA 2008 launch (I had seen some recent reports saying February 19th, but I don’t think that’s accurate), so I think this is fairly fresh info. It’s news to me at least, even if it’s still not a specific date yet. At any rate, these two trailers are new for sure, so check ’em out.

It’s probably spring 08, based on the hands-on I recently did with Prologue last week. I’m fiddling away on impressions of everything I saw/played from GT5 Prologue to Twisted Metal Head-On PS2 to Patapon and that should go up here next week. While there’s still no car damage in GT5P, you get an awesome inside the car view, 75 cars to choose from with 16 cars on the tracks, online play and some mighty fine PS3 visuals. I wiped out on Suzuka (damn crazy turn near the starting/finish line where you need to take a hard right then a hard left or hit a wall), but I was driving like a dog with my tongue hanging out the window…
