Guild Wars: Eye of the North Pre-release Bonus Pack Announced

NCsoft and ArenaNet have announced today that a special pre-release bonus pack for Guild Wars: Eye of the North will be available in stores in North America and Europe, on the NCsoft store at and via the Official Guild Wars online store starting on July 20th.

Those who pre-order Eye of the North, the first true expansion to the original Guild Wars, will receive the bonus pack containing a number of great features, including exclusive in-game items like the Glacial Blade, Hourglass Staff, and Darksteel Longbow (all based on the winners from the Guild Wars Design-a-Weapon Contest from earlier in the year), a Guild Wars Trilogy Trial DVD providing access to all three of the current Guild Wars campaigns for a trial period lasting either 10 hours or 14 days, and special access to the Guild Wars: Eye of the North Sneak Peek Weekend on August 24-26.

“We believe this feature-packed prerelease delivers real value to our players,” said Mike O’Brien, co-founder of ArenaNet. “From past experience, we expect the Sneak Peek Weekend alone to be hugely popular, and players won’t want to miss this chance to get a leg-up before the game goes live.”

Guild Wars: Eye of the North officially launches on August 31st.
