Gun Loco to Support Kinect?

It appears that Square Enix’s newly-unveiled Xbox 360 “spring-action shooter,” Gun Loco, may be in line for Kinect support. First clue: the game’s official website is teasing a big announcement to be made on August 23rd. Second clue: this not-so-subtle tweet from the game’s official Twitter feed, reading as follows:

Could there be a sprint-action-parkour-shooter for Kinect?!? Maybe at the far edge of universe…

That pretty much says it all, no? If this turns out to be true, it could be a bigger deal than you may initially think. Thus far, Microsoft hasn’t shown any core-style games with Kinect support, so to see a shooter touting the motion control tech could potentially boost interest amongst Kinect naysayers, myself included. For now, though, we’ll just have to wait until Monday to find out what Square Enix has up its sleeve.
