Half-Minute Hero, JU-ON: The Grudge Ship October 13th

I guess XSEED Games likes to ship games in pairs. Last week saw the releases of Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga and The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road on the same day, and come next week on October 13th the publisher will launch its next two games, JU-ON: The Grudge for Wii and Half-Minute Hero for PSP.

They may be shipping on the same day, but the two games really couldn’t be any different. JU-ON: The Grudge, on one hand, is a “haunted house simulator” inspired by the Japanese horror film of the same name in which you explore dark, creepy locales with only a flashlight in hand to guide your way. Half-Minute Hero, on the other hand, puts a quirky twist on the RPG genre with over 100 stages that challenge you to complete quests, slay monsters and grind out levels in only 30 seconds apiece.
