PC gamers, get ready to save the world, 30 seconds at a time.
That’s right — PSP classic later reworked for XBLA, Half-Minute Hero is making the 8-bit jump to PC. Yeah boyee!
Adopting the even longer subtitle of Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy, Half-Minute Hero for PC is due out September 27th on Steam and Playism.
The new PC version will combine all features from the two previous editions, including Knight 30, Hero 30, Princess 30, and Evil Lord 30 modes restored to their original glory and options for 8-bit graphics or the remastered anime style from the Xbox 360, in addition to leaderboards and achievements for each mode, Super Hero Wars four-player co-op, and more.
It sounds like all hope for a U.S. translation of the sequel, Half-Minute Hero 2, is riding on how well this PC remaster does, so give it some love and support if you want any chance of more 30-second RPG action in your future.
