A new set of comparison shots has been released showing off how the HD remastered version of Halo 2: Anniversary, available on Xbox One this holiday season as part of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, enhances the visuals from Halo 2 classic. As you can see, the increased level of detail in the textures and lighting effects is quite striking.

Additionally, here are a couple clips of gameplay footage from Halo 2: Anniversary–one featuring the campaign, the other showing multiplayer action. Neither video shows any comparison footage to the original game, but it’s pretty obvious that the new and improved version looks a whole lot better.
