Halo 4 Begins a New Trilogy Holiday 2012

As all the so-called “experts” predicted, an unveil for Halo 4 closed Microsoft’s E3 media briefing earlier this afternoon — likely waking many viewers from their Kinect-induced slumber. Oh, I kid because I love!

With 343 Industries now assuming control of the franchise from Bungie, Halo 4 will begin a whole new trilogy for series hero Master Chief, who returns following the close of Halo 3 “to confront his own destiny and face an ancient evil that threatens the fate of the entire universe.”

Not much is know beyond that. But a short trailer teasing the game for a Holiday 2012 launch was shown at the press conference, and you can watch that at the top of the page.
