Help Build the Ultimate Dead Island 2 Collector’s Edition

Once again, as was done with Dead Island: Riptide and Saints Row IV, Deep Silver is turning to the gaming community to help decide what content will be included in the collector’s edition for Dead Island 2 when it launches in the spring of 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

A total of 28 potential collector’s edition goodies are now up for fan voting as part of an online Google Doc survey, including things like sunglasses, a beach towel, figurines, a zombie arm back scratcher, controller decals, a beer cooler case, even a real zombie. Simply go through the bubbled checklist and rate each item on a scale of 1-5 by midnight on July 14th. The most popular items will then be configured into one awesome collector’s edition.

What’s my dream Dead Island 2 collector’s edition? Well first off, a big fuck no to any DLC. I’d like a Rick Furry super cuddly plush toy cat, a Rick Furry themed cat collar, a Rick Furry Maneki-neko cat, a zombie back scratcher and an art book inside the survival backpack or the beer cooler. Maybe Deep Silver could call it the “Dead Island 2 Furry Pussy Edition.” It’d probably cost an obscene amount of money, but if Deep Silver and the community make it happen I might just have to break my $99.99 and under collector’s edition rule to buy the damn thing.
