If you own a DS and are a fan of adventure games, you are surely very familiar with (and very fond of) Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Trace Memory, and thus should be very excited about a new title Tecmo has announced at the Tokyo Game Show.
CiNG, the studio behind Hotel Dusk and Trace Memory, is working on a new DS adventure game for 2010 titled AGAIN. AGAIN takes place in a fictional 90’s era New Jersey following the story of FBI agent Jonathan Weaver as he attempts to solve a series of grisly murders dating back 19 years. Similarly to Hotel Dusk, the game will play out like an interactive crime novel with the player required to hold the DS in vertical orientation like a book. Expect to search a lot of crime scenes for clues and solve a lot of mind-bending puzzles. Also expect to see the rare use of full-motion video sequences performed by live actors.
You’ll find more clues about AGAIN in the first trailer and screenshots below.
Yeah … this is a day-of-release pickup for me.
Thanks for the post. The screenshots were great, especially the large box art. I love Cing and everything they produce.
Thanks for the reminder – I can’t wait for this one!
