Hotline Miami Splatters Pixelated Brains on PS3, Vita

Dennaton Games’ vicious top-down indie shooter Hotline Miami is making the jump from PC infamy to console glory on modern PlayStation gaming machines. That would be PS3 and Vita via PSN digital download, with plans for cross-buy and cross-play support.

Dennaton and publisher Devolver Digital have tasked Abstraction Games with the PlayStation development duties. They’re working hard to perfectly translate Hotline Miami‘s retro hyper-violence and lightning-quick twitch gameplay to Sony devices, and considering the game played even better on PC once the gamepad support was patched in, it should be a great fit on the PS3 and Vita. Abstraction is also said to be utilizing the unique features of each platform’s hardware, but specifics have not yet been announced.

Hotline Miami makes its PSN debut this spring. Check out our review of the PC version to see why you should be pretty damn excited right now. Wash it down with some screens and a trailer.
