How Will You Buy MGS4?

Over the weekend, I dropped in on the nearby GameStop to upgrade my original Metal Gear Solid 4 pre-order from the standard edition to the swank limited edition. While doing so I chatted up the clerk about how pre-orders on the game were going while he updated my info in their system. I was mainly curious to see if there were a lot of reservations coming in for the LE. Special editions for big games like MGS4 usually tend to get snatched up pretty quick, so I wanted to make sure I was high enough up on the list to get the game on day one. From what I was told, though, there hasn’t been a big rush of pre-orders for just the game as of yet, that the majority of customers were actually waiting for the MGS4 PS3 bundle.

So that got me curious to find out how you, our loyal VGB readers, were planning on getting your MGS4 on in one month’s time (if you plan to get it at all). Is the standard edition all you need? Will you pony up for all the extras in the limited edition (like me)? Or, like many consumers it seems, are you waiting to finally take the plunge into the PS3 age with the bundle?
