Break out your yellow, white and green sweatbands, Deca Sports fans. Coming up this Saturday, June 28th in San Jose, CA, Hudson Entertainment and the GameStop Tournament Store located on 3600 Stevens Creek Blvd. will play host to a series of three Deca Sports tournaments taking place between 12-3PM (one tourney each hour). Participation will be on a first come, first serve basis, with participants competing for various Hudson prizes, like games and swag.

The big news isn’t really the tournament, though. For this special occasion, Hudson executive Takahashi Meijin, who you may know as “Master Higgins” from Hudson’s Adventure Island, will be flying over to attend the event to meet fans and give some advice to help those competing in the tournaments. His participation will mark his first visit to US shores in 18 years, so it’s a very big deal.
