Impact Winter’s April Launch Means We’re in for a Cold Spring

Mojo Bones and Bandai Namco are readying their post-apocalyptic survival game Impact Winter for a springtime April 12th PC launch, followed later on in the year by console releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Steam pre-purchasing has opened at a price point of $19.99.

In the game, you will play as Jacob Solomon, fighting to survive until rescue arrives in 30 days while contending with extinction level blizzard conditions after an asteroid hits Earth and plunges the planet into subzero temperatures. It’s not like there’s a shortage on survival games these days, but Impact Winter looks like it has some tricks up its sleeve to make it worth keeping an eye on. For now, bundle up inside a warm blanket and put your eyes on the new gameplay trailer.
