Infamous: Second Son Neon Dashes Onto PlayStation 4 in March 2014

And once more, on PlayStation 4 launch night, Sony tortures us with a trailer for a game we can’t play yet.

Sucker Punch’s Infamous: Second Son is shaping up to be an early system-selling exclusive for the PS4. But there’s good news and bad news.

The good news is that the game looks absolutely spectacular. The new trailer, perfectly paired with a cover of Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box,” reveals Delsin’s Neon superpower, allowing him to absorb energy from nearby sources and dash around like a streak of neon light and shoot frickin’ laser beams from his hands. Groovy!

The bad news: Infamous: Second Son won’t be out until March 21, 2014, as the trailer reveals in its closing moments. That’s over four months from now. Bummer. Tell me again why I should be rushing out to buy a PS4 on day one?
