Interactive Tomb Raider: Underworld Experience Site Goes Live

With Tomb Raider: Underworld just a week away from release, Eidos has launched a new interactive “Experience Site” to build some more hype for the title coming down the home stretch. The new TRU site features three stages built using recorded in-game footage challenging you to guide Lara along by tapping certain keys as indicators pop up on the screen. So basically it’s a modernized form of the Dragon’s Lair formula. As you play you get scored on your timing, and at the end of all three stages your score determines how many unlockable goodies (aka wallpapers) you get to download. Throughout the “Experience” you also get to take screenshots at certain moments, and at the end you can use those screenshots to generate new wallpapers of your own. The picture above is one that I had created.
