Introducing Transformers: Fall of Cybertron’s Robot Smashing Multiplayer Mayhem

Multiplayer has been thrown in as a bit of a bullet point afterthought in recent Transformers games (the past few I’ve played have either been very laggy or just plain forgettable after a handful of matches), but High Moon Studios aims to give gamers the satisfying, long-lasting robot-on-robot competition they’ve been craving in Fall of Cybertron.

Revealed via a media blast containing a new trailer and a hefty stack of screenshots, Fall of Cybertron multiplayer features custom Transformer creation, 10 maps, five match types, and co-op wave survival. If you’re a fan of giant metal dudes smashing each other, vehicular combat and explosions (lots of explosions!), you’re probably going to dig this.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is shipping August 21st for PS3 and Xbox 360 and for PC digital download.
