Break out your grappling hook and stunt parachute, folks. The playable demo for Avalanche Studios’ open-world action game Just Cause 2 is available to take for a spin on your platform of choice, be it PC (via Steam), PS3 or Xbox 360. And what a massive demo it is, offering a full 35 square miles of the Lautan Lama Desert to wreak havoc upon and plenty of airspace to grapple slingshot from jets and helicopters.

Go ahead and give it a whirl to see what you think before the full game ships on March 23rd. And while you wait for the demo to download you might as well peek at the demo launch trailer and the recent “Anatomy of a Stunt” trailers embedded after the break.
