Kane & Lynch Comic Covers Look Like This

DC’s WildStorm label is working on a comic book series based on IO Interactive’s controversial Kane & Lynch video game series, and today we’ve received the final artwork for the first two issues. Created by Ben Templesmith, best known for his work on 30 Days of Night and Fell, both pieces of cover art capture the games’ gritty, grimy style and atmosphere, and I’ve posted the latest round of E3 screenshots for Kane & Lynch 2 underneath so you can see the correlation.

Ian Edginton and Chris Mitten are also attached to the K&L comics as the writer and artist, respectively. The two 32-page issues will be out this summer at $4 a pop, with the first issue due on August 4th and the second issue arriving in September. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days ships for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 24th.
