I guess we now know why Kid Icarus: Uprising wasn’t ready to go for 3DS launch, with Nintendo today unveiling two brand new features for the exhilarating portable action game.
As you can see in the latest trailer, Uprising has been expanded a lot since last we saw or heard anything about it, most notably in regards to its new 3-on-3 multiplayer battle mode and support for AR card duels. The AR card system is merely teased, but the trailer gives a good idea of what the multiplayer contests are like. Should be a fun pastime once the solo adventure is over!
Kid Icarus: Uprising is scheduled to ship for the holidays.

MULTIPLAYER?!!! Oh yeah! I have fantasized about Kid Icarus multiplayer for years. I am stunned that it is actually becoming a reality. Now I want this game for a console!
