Japanese mobile phone game Kingdom Hearts Coded is being remade for the Nintendo DS, and in typical Square Enix form it has a silly new title. Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, as it is now called, will launch in North America on January 11.

Previously released in episodic form, Re:coded brings the complete experience together into one package and also introduces an enhanced combat system said to be comparable to the new PSP Kingdom Hearts, Birth by Sleep, and a new “character growth system created specifically for the Nintendo DS release.”
