Kojima Productions Teaser Site Hints At New Metal Gear

As you may have seen already, Kojima Productions just launched a teaser site teasing a new Metal Gear game with the image above. It’s an equation of an upside-down exclamation point plus a regular exclamation point equaling a power symbol, with text underneath reading “A Next Metal Gear Is…”

Rumors are flying as to what this new Metal Gear could possibly be, and to be honest all of the guesses I’ve read so far sound valid. Given the neon green color to the symbols, something for Xbox 360 seems to be the most obvious choice, be it the long-rumored, oft-denied 360 port of MGS4 or an XBLA remake of MGS1 that’s also been rumored for some time now. Other guesses include a new Metal Gear Acid game since the series’ logo uses the flipped exclamation point as the “i” in Acid, or possibly even an iPod Touch game stemming from the text “mgst” that’s part of the teaser site’s URL, text that may just stand for something like Metal Gear Solid Touch. Plus, that inverted exclamation point could also represent the “i” in iPod. So many possibilities, so very intriguing!

So, what do you think the new Metal Gear will be? Any other ideas?
