Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Limited Edition Has a Skull Kid in the Box

The upcoming remastered Nintendo 3DS version of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, whenever it comes out later this year, will offer fans an extra treat in the form of a limited edition bundle containing a collectible figurine of the mysterious Skull Kid character.

For a change, the pricing on the limited edition is well within reason, nudging the $39.99 standard edition retail price up to just $49.99. Ten additional bucks for a Skull Kid figure to stand on your collectible shelf is a deal worth jumping all over.

Unfortunately, it seems a lot of folks already have, because on Amazon at least the limited edition pre-orders have already sold out (likely by scalpers who don’t even care about the game but will simply turn around and re-sell them at inflated prices). I haven’t checked around other retailers yet, but I have a feeling this bundle’s going to be selling out everywhere.

Here’s a closer look at the Skull Kid figurine. This may be as close a look as you’ll ever get.
