LEGO Hobbits Are the Cutest Minifigures Ever

LegoLordOfTheRings

We have new screenshots in for LEGO The Lord of the Rings, giving us a closer look at how adorable hobbits are when they’re immortalized as LEGO minifigs. There’s also a shot of the Moria cave troll fight that looks just like a children’s LEGO toy battle that has come to life on the playroom floor. I remember throwing more than a few imaginary LEGO battles as a youngster, although in my time there were no licensed Lord of the Ring sets. I think the best I ever had were generic pirate and sci-fi themes.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings ships this fall for 3DS, DS, PC, PS3, PS Vita, Wii and Xbox 360. We’re working to arrange time with Traveller’s Tales for a Q&A interview later in the year, so hopefully we’ll be able to bring you more info about the game soon. Just admire the new screenshots for now, and don’t feel weird if you suddenly wish you could reach through your PC monitor to pinch those cute hobbit minifigure cheeks.
