Lightning Returns to E3 with a 2014 Release Date

LightningReturnsFinalFantasyXIII

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII won’t make it onto store shelves out west by year’s end as previously planned. Along with showing off more of the revamped action-oriented combat system, the new city environment of Yusnaan, the return of Snow Villiers and the refreshed character fashion, the game’s E3 trailer confirms a rescheduled North American launch date of February 11, 2014. That’s for PS3 and Xbox 360.

I’m not complaining. Now I’ve got a bit more time to circle back to Final Fantasy XIII-2 before the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy concludes next year.
