Link Conducts Trains in Next DS Zelda Adventure!

At the Game Developers Conference today, Nintendo unveiled the next installment in the Zelda franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. In Spirit Tracks, Link hops out of his trusty sail boat and into a steam train, traveling throughout the kingdom to reach new dungeons, blasting baddies along the way with an on-board cannon. Not much has been announced yet, but below you’ll find the unveil trailer presented during Nintendo’s GDC keynote and a short blurb summarizing the game.

The new The Legend of Zelda™: Spirit Tracks game that Iwata announced will utilize the intuitive touch control of Phantom Hourglass in an all new adventure that will please longtime Zelda™ fans while keeping the game accessible to all DS owners. The concept behind this Zelda game includes utilizing a steam locomotive to travel around the world, switching Phantom and Link to explore the dungeons, and solving puzzles using new items.
