LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector’s Edition in the House!

Here it is, my friends. The LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector’s Edition, fresh off the UPS truck after a two-day journey from GameStop!

I rarely, if ever, order Collector’s Editions of games — the last was for MGS4, and I can’t recall the last one I bought before that — but dammit, Sackboy is so irresistibly cute that I couldn’t hold off the urge to splurge this time, even with an early review copy of the game already sitting in my hands since last week (I’ll have a review posting later in the week after some final play testing now that the LBP community at large is in full swing and more user levels begin to roll in).

I was initially planning to do an unboxing video. But that entailed firing up my PS3, getting out my PS Eye camera, and recording and converting the video. I was too eager to dig in to bother with all that, so instead I quickly snapped some photos of the included contents — game, Sackboy plush doll, bookends, DLC voucher and a nice box for it all to stow away in. Take a look!
