LittleBigPlanet PSP launched at retail last week, but to the dismay of PSPgo owners and digital download consumers the week passed without a PSN store release, further fueling anger against Sony over the company’s inconsistency with releasing PSP games on UMD and PSN at the same time. Of course, the higher level of anticipation for such a high profile game only compounded the situation.
While the wait was inexcusable, at least it didn’t turn out to be that long. A week after the UMD retail launch, LittleBigPlanet PSP has been made ready for a PSN release today. I don’t have my PSP handy to check whether it’s on the store now, but it has been confirmed for release this very day. Additionally, a demo has been made available for those who want to try before buying, and an update has been released to fix up a few things with the game’s Create mode.
