New Final Fantasy XV gameplay footage from the Tokyo Game Show has revealed some of the game’s outdoorsy side activities. Tag along for five minutes as Noctis and the gang ditch the convertible for some scenic chocobo-back riding, a relaxing fishing trip, and a campfire cookout.
Man, I am seriously still struggling to reconcile this game’s clashing styles in my brain. I recently read somewhere that Final Fantasy XV won’t have the iconic Moogles because they don’t fit the atmosphere, and yet here we see Noctis drifting and bouncing around on a chocobo and fishing, all while dressed up like he’s ready to strut his stuff on the catwalk in a fashion show. Then, once he’s caught a fish and cooked it up on the campfire, the meal looks like some 5-star dish from a fine dining restaurant. Wha? I don’t know, it all just seems so weird and out of place. Or is it just me?
