Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest Slips to Spring 2010

Another game seems to have caught the “let’s get out of the 2009 holiday crush” delay bug. Although not in the same class of expectations with other games pushed into next year like BioShock 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Red Steel 2, The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest is a game I’ve been looking forward to since it was announced just prior to E3, and it was scheduled to ship this fall according to the first trailer (the game’s website still lists a Fall 2009 date as well).

But alas, it’s not coming out this year any more. Warner Bros. has confirmed with us today that the family-friendly Lord of the Rings adventure won’t be shipping until Spring 2010. Headstrong Games is currently working away at the Wii version, while TT Fusion has been tasked with versions for the DS, PS2 and PSP platforms.

When will these delays stop?
